Luke Bowling founded Big Sky Landscapes in 2019 to bring professionalism and reliability to the landscaping industry. A Chattanooga native and University of Tennessee at Chattanooga graduate, Luke met his wife, Ellie, in 2016, and they married in 2022. They now have two wonderful children.

How It Started

Big Sky Landscapes began in 2018 as a side project with two part-time employees (college students earning extra money for the summer). Luke quickly noticed that clients were surprised by simple professionalism, like showing up on time or returning calls. Realizing the industry lacked reliability, he went all in. In 2019, he left his other jobs, hired two employees, and committed to growing the company with a client-first approach.

How We’ve Grown

What started with two part-time employees has grown into a team of 35 in just three years. Revenue has increased from $100,000 to $4,000,000, earning Big Sky Landscapes recognition as Chattanooga’s Best of the Best in 2024 and #416 on the Inc. 5000 list.
